We’re delighted to share that AB has been shortlisted three times at this year's IOIC Awards.
The IOIC Awards are the benchmark for our profession. This year, the judges considered almost 300 entries, praising their quality, creativity and commitment. Every shortlisted entry receives an Award of Excellence, with class winners announced at the awards dinner on 17 September.
Our shortlisted work:
Robin, for Royal Mail — shortlisted for Best New or Relaunched Channel. Robin is a mobile-first, integrated platform which combines news, HR tools and social engagement. The launch soared, with 13,000 logins in the first 48 hours. And a little AB fact for you: the name’s a nod to the company's own history—Victorian posties were nicknamed 'robins' for their red-breasted uniforms.
Compass Magazine, for PD Ports — also shortlisted for Best New or Relaunched Channel. Compass proves that print is truly alive and kicking. Designed to connect a proud, desk-free workforce, Compass brings the organisation’s evolving strategy to life through people stories.
The Communicating Organisation, with Steam Thermal Solutions (part of Spirax Group) — shortlisted in the Game Changer category, which recognises work that shifts what internal communication can achieve. This innovative programme is designed to unlock the collective knowledge and expertise of the organisation’s people - reorientating communication from a broadcast or support function to a strategic driver of business performance.
Colin Archer, Spirax’s Head of Internal Communications, talks to Katie Macaulay about The Communicating Organisation on The Internal Comms podcast
Behind each of these is a client with big ambition. Daring to do things differently. Supported by a brilliant team on both sides. Thank you to Royal Mail, PD Ports and Steam Thermal Solutions for trusting us with work that matters.
We’ll be the ones at the Hurlingham Club on 17 September with everything crossed. Come and say hello if you're heading along too.
