Managing Director - Tim Buckley

Tim Buckley – managing director

Tim joined the family-owned business after working on newspapers including The Watford Review, The Reading Evening Post and The Sun. He joined AB in 1990 as a junior reporter and worked in every department before joining the board in 1996. He became managing director in 1997. Tim is also a Freeman of the City of London, a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers, a former chairman of CiB, a member of IABC and a Member of the Magic Circle.

Anthony Naughton - creative director

Anthony Naughton – creative director

Anthony runs our design studio. After studying for an HND in journalism & business studies at the London College of Printing, he began his publishing career as a journalist at AB Publishing.
He subsequently joined the staff of The Watford Review and Radio Times. He returned to AB as sub-editor and became studio manager in 1993 and publishing director in 1997 before becoming creative director in 1999.

Andrew Seib - production director

Andrew Seib – operations director

Andrew runs our production department and is responsible for the scheduling, printing and delivery of AB’s publications. His publishing career started at The Economist, followed by reporting stints for The Thame Gazette, The Bucks Advertiser and The St Albans Review. Andrew was launch editor of The Watford Review and was appointed group editor for the 10 newspapers produced by Goodhead Publishing. He joined AB as general manager in 1995 and was appointed operations director in 1997.

Neeta Daly - studio manager

Neeta Daly – associate director - studio

Neeta qualified with a journalism degree from the London College of Printing before joining the national magazine Wild About Animals. She was a writer and sub-editor for the Yorkshire and Humberside regional arts magazine Artscene and was northern correspondent for East – the national newspaper for British Asians. She has contributed to EMAP’s Country Walking magazine and the VSO publication Volunteering. Neeta joined AB
in 1998.

Lisa Mobley - editorial manager

Lisa Mobley – associate director - editorial

Lisa joined AB in 1994 as a reporter. She has been an editor for seven years and also manages the day-to-day running of the editorial team. She has been instrumental in setting up and running many of our railway industry publications over the last nine years, for both Railtrack/Network Rail and Connex, as well as editing titles for House of Fraser, Hallmark Cards and Centrica.

Katie Macaulay

Katie Macaulay – consultant

Katie began her career in journalism, working for the Mail on Sunday’s Business Section. She moved into corporate communications in 1995, specialising in employee, shareholder and public affairs communications. As a consultant, her major projects include the global re-branding of Barclays plc, editing Metronet’s Public Private Partnership bid for the London Underground and the launch of AiM (Alternative Investment Market) for the London Stock Exchange. She has undertaken communication audits, including AB Acid Test, for The British Red Cross, Campbell’s Grocery Products, Hallmark Cards and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
